Silsal Ceramics is a pottery studio located in the heart of Amman Jordan. Our workshop and gallery occupy two charming stone houses built in the sixties of the last century within a unique setup; a team of artists and artisans working together to produce functional art pieces.Our work is mainly inspired by ancient and Islamic traditions. Recently, a modern line has been introduced to complement our collection. Silsal’s pieces are made so they may be used and enjoyed. Our non-toxic home made glazes are characterized by their calm earthy colors and smooth matte patina that is typical of stoneware pottery. Silsal Ceramics’ mission is to help restore and continue the age old tradition of pottery making that has come under threat of disappearance.
