Many of our pieces are inspired from designs that are ancient; the most extraordinary are those that appear on Bronze Age pottery pieces. Stylized animals such as ibex, fish and birds usually form a frieze around the ancient pot and are flanked by repetitive geometric motifs such as concentric circles, triangular patterns criss-cross or checkerboard. Another theme is taken from the caves and rock carvings in Wadi Rum. These carvings usually depict a shepherd with his herd of goats, sheep or a rider on a camel and they are often accompanied by some indecipherable writings in Tamudic script.
