Silsal’s earthy colors are strongly influenced by the surrounding nature, the topography and the harsh landscapes. The rocks and soil in Wadi rum inspires dramatic ochres and reds. The copper mines of Dana always compel us to use turquoise touches within our works. The lush springs of the north with their wild tulips and anemones are a contrast to the arid landscapes and the scarce flora such as the light teal shrubs in the southern desert. Much of our work is seasonal and inspired by the changing time of year. The Red sea and its marvelous flora and fauna are an abundant source for our summer series.
